Influence of forest systems on soils in the Oxapampa Pasco height jungle
Main Article Content
Abstract
Research was executed in the province of Oxapampa Pasco region in the fields of San Alberto (district of Oxapampa) The Polvorín (district Chontabamba) in plots of degraded areas (AD), secondary forest (BS) and reforested with exotic species such as Cupressus sempervirens (C), Eucalyptus grandis (E) and Pinus tecunumanii (P), plantations executed by INRENA - Oxapampa. Type of descriptive research, no experimental design, qualitative and quantitative method, population consisting of all soils of the province, the sample represented by all sampling points in the plot observation and field and laboratory data was obtained. For the study, 10 test pits (5 in each sector) were opened and then characterize soils at depths of 0-20 cm and 20-60 cm, the samples were analyzed in the Soil Laboratory of the National Agrarian University took Molina. Result from the target characterization and description of the outlines of the soil; the evaluation shows that soils are scarce pedogenético development of alluvial colluvial origin, with medium texture in the San Alberto and moderately fine in the El Polvorín with structure means angular blocks with relatively high bulk densities that are influencing in a slightly low porosity and degree of soil compaction. The permeability is between moderately slow to moderately fast fine soils on coarse soils and because of the steep slope are too drained.
