Integrated procedure for knowledge and innovation management in Cuban agroforestry enterprises. Integrated procedure for knowledge and innovation management in Cuban agroforestry enterprises
Main Article Content
Abstract
The separate management of knowledge and innovation limits the capacity of agroforestry enterprises to transform experience, scientific information, and productive learning into economic, environmental, and social results. Therefore, the objective of this research was to design an integrated procedure for managing knowledge and innovation in Cuban state-owned agroforestry enterprises. Qualitative research methodology was employed, specifically the systemic and modeling methods, which were implemented through document analysis and content analysis techniques. The resulting procedure is structured in seven stages and 32 steps: prepare and govern; understand and diagnose; monitor, learn, and identify opportunities; manage ideas and portfolio; develop projects and solutions; implement, protect, transfer, and generalize; and measure, review, and improve. The main conclusion demonstrates that the integrated procedure connects problems and opportunities with critical knowledge, projects, adoption, protection, impact, and learning, offering a traceable, phased architecture compatible with the management systems of agroforestry enterprises.
